A rupture or betrayal has derailed your relationship and sex is off the table.

You love each other and you’ve started living together as roommates.

Life changed – aging bodies, kids, careers, illness, losses – and your intimacy hasn’t caught up.

Sex is good enough but you suspect it could be extraordinary.

What You’ll Practice

Relational and erotic skills, not big ideas or promises.

i.

Reading each other

Become fluent in your partner’s face, voice, and nervous system — and catch trouble seconds before it starts.

ii.

Repair in real time

Learn to end fights in minutes without burying the issue — and to apologize in ways that actually land.

iii.

Wanting out loud

Practice asking for what you want – including the awkward, tender, undeveloped – without flooding or shame.

iv.

Embodied presence

Breath, attention, and touch practices that bring you out of your head and back into the room with each other.

v.

Erotic curiosity

Rebuild play and experimentation as a shared practice — slowly, consensually, and with a sense of humor.

vi.

The long game

A couple’s ritual structure — check-ins, novelty, devotion — that keeps ripening going long after the retreat ends.

Good Questions

Things couples ask us first.

Will we have to share private things in front of other couples?

No. Group sessions teach skills and frameworks; the personal work happens between the two of you, with guidance. Nothing intimate is ever performed for the room.

Is this therapy?

Retreats are educational and experiential rather than a substitute for couples therapy — though both founders are seasoned clinicians, and many therapists refer their own clients to us. If ongoing therapy is the better fit, we’ll say so.

We’re older. Is this still for us?

Especially for you. The entire premise of our work is that erotic life ripens across the whole lifespan — our participants span their 30s through their 70s.

Are all couples welcome?

Yes. Our work is grounded in practices that honor every orientation, gender, and relationship structure. You will not be the asterisk in the room.
